Paris - Jeremiah Johnson, winner of the 2005 NPHA Plott Days Isaiah Kidd Award has seen more of the world in his young life than many of us will experience in a lifetime.
Jeremiah, as a professional baseball pitcher has played America’s pastime in several countries across Europe. His most notable achievement was leading his team to the Czech Baseball Cup Championship in the Czech Republic in 2004.
More recently, Jeremiah has been playing French baseball. We've included part of our collection of Jeremiah's photos for AKC Coonhounds visitors to enjoy, including a shot of his Chillicothe Paints baseball card.
We’re proud of Jeremiah, his accomplishments with his Plott, Millennium Gravedigger at Plott Days, and for his ability to play a sport we all love and appreciate, not only at home but around the world.
Jeremiah’s dad, John Johnson is a dedicated Plott man from Litchfield, Michigan, Jeremiah’s home base. James and Pennie Johnson of Homer, Mich., are also dedicated Plott people and are Jeremiah’s aunt and uncle.
