Newport, TN - Ten-year old Lauren Lanning of Easley, SC, handling CCH Key Largo's Stealing Cinderella defeated a field of 25 entries to emerge the 2010 AKC Youth World Show Champion. Cinderella is a Treeing Walker bitch owned by Lee Currens of Piedmont, South Carolina.
Judge Mike Bryant selected Lauren's coonhound in the final runoff in the Saturday show (see photo below) against an English coonhound, CSG M & M's Hillbilly Deluxe, owned by Cody and Greg Maney of Sherrill's Ford, NC and handled by Tyler Edwards of Clyde, NC.
Lauren won the runoff both days at the 2010 AKC Youth World Championship which made her the automatic Youth World Champion winner. The top dog each day shows in a runoff for the Championship.
