Believe it or not in less than eight weeks we'll be deep into opening ceremonies at the 2006 AKC World Championship in Warsaw, Indiana. Have you been hunting your hound? Is he or she ready? Have you won your cast with plus points at an AKC event qualifying you for a 50% discount on your entry fee? Have you sent in your entry to the AKC office to reserve a spot on the nights you want to compete? Well, if your answer is yes to all of these questions you are well on your way...
Where will you be Saturday night September 30th? Will you be in the crowd at Warsaw cheering on your favorite hound and handler? Will you be sitting at home watching the in-depth play by play on your computer? Or, will you be one of the four finalists with a stomach so nervous you can’t eat and a head buzzing so fast you can't think straight? Will you be there to shake Steve Fielder’s hand  hile he’s handing you a $25,000 check? Will you and your fine hound be gracing the cover of the November, 2006 American Cooner? If you want it, here it is come -n- get it, "Beat The Dogs You Draw-That's All"!!
Friday evening September 29th will start the 2006 AKC Youth National Championship. On Saturday afternoon September 30th we'll be crowning the 2006 AKC World Show Champion.
