Alcovy River CHA Gold-Medal Event

Monroe, GA After a nice Memorial Day holiday last weekend, I headed back to north Georgia where the Alcovy River CHA held another Gold Medal event As always, the club is prepared to put several hunters in the woods. I really encourage you hunters to check the Event Schedule for their next hunt and make plans to participate! Their next hunt will be July 8, 2006 which will be a Gold Medal hunt with $100 entry fee. If all 16 entries are filled 1st place pays $534, 2nd place pays $267, 3rd pays $167, 4th pays $100 and split is $267!! It’s your choice guys---but AKC just makes sense!! Pictured is the winner of this past Saturday night, Ranks Stylish Straw, a Treeing Walker male, owned by Fisher and Johnson, handled by Heath Johnson, scored 3871/2+. Straw is now in the running for a spot in the Black Gold – Gold Medal finals!
